From Duntroon to the Drawing Board
Before real estate, there was the Army. Sid trained as an officer at the Royal Military College, Duntroon, and went on to serve for 15 years. It's where he learned to read a plan properly, commit resources where they're needed, and deliver on schedule no matter what gets thrown at you along the way, skills that translate directly into running a development pipeline.

When Sid moved into property, he brought that same discipline with him, founding the first Prime Group company in 1989. Central Development Corporation grew out of that same foundation, built to take projects from site acquisition through to completed, tenanted buildings.
Building Beyond the Coast
Central Apartment Group's story is a coastal one, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay. Central Development Corporation's story reaches further inland. Toowoomba is one of the clearest examples, a growing regional centre where Sid's team has delivered a commercial development well away from the group's original coastal footprint, proof the same regional-first approach works just as well inland as it does on the coast.

It's a philosophy Sid still talks about the same way after twenty years building the wider group:
"Reaching 20 years is a proud moment for our entire team."
Still Developing
The group Sid founded in 1989 hasn't stopped growing. Central Development Corporation continues to take on new residential and commercial projects alongside the wider group's hospitality and investment arms, each one assessed with the same care as the first.
From a Duntroon graduate to the founder of a national development, hospitality, and investment group, Sid's approach has never really changed: plan properly, commit fully, and see every project through to the end.
